I am selling my 1971 Yamaha RT1 360 MX .I had the pair the Enduro and Mx but thining the herd I sold the Enduro and now I am selling the MX .I bought it a couple years ago from a retired friend , he ran it just to keep things working then I put it in my dry garage drained the gasoline and have not used it since other then rolling it around now and then and shifting the gears dry and do a a few dry kickstarts . I used the Enduro and the MX was too rare to valuable for me to run around in the dirt and dust in my area for that I have another horse .It is matching numbers . It was run on Gas/Oil mixture but the the 2 cycle oil tank and pump are all there just not hooked up .I also had new tires put on it when I bought it and they are still unused other than rolling it in and out of the garage .The original seat has a little tear on the left side One of the pictures shows the inside of the tank .The front brake is a bit soft it might need new pads at some point .I will assist with Transportation Uship always works well for me - can possibly have it delivered within a few hundred miles -delivery fee to be agreed upon ahead of delivery .2016-06-23 04:52:50Dulzura, California, United States09800 -

For auction a 1979 Yamaha RD400F-Dayton Special, 400cc two stroke twin, the first and only year the Daytona Special was produced for the U.S.,“The King of the two strokes.” I bought the bike 21 years ago. It is box stock with a few exceptions: Expansion chambers by a previous owner; the kick stand was extended to fit under the pipes; the seat has been reupholstered (and is much more comfortable than the original); the horn needs a new switch: Engine: The bike was thoroughly serviced in September (New plugs, points and condenser; carbs and oil pump sync’ed, carbs cleaned,) and it starts first kick. It pulls and revs hard on the power band and that beautiful two stroke purr when idling. It dyno’ed at 48 HP (Stock is 40HP) . The battery was replaced two years ago. The engine has not been ported or polished. No mods what so ever, save the chambers. Up For sale is my beautiful 1975 RD350. I bought this bike from the son of the original owner and it had been stored in his barn for the majority of its life. It only has 3700 MILES on it. This bike fires right up and has plenty of power! the chrome shines wonderfully with very little pitting and scratches. The paint is glows gorgeously with very few flaws for its age. There are a couple chips and scratches that were documented in the pictures and no fading whatsoever. The only things that I have done to it was replace the brake light switch, replace the spark plugs, charge the battery, washed the bike up and clean the carbs. I also partially cleaned the inside of the gas tank with very gentle biodegradable tank cleaner (Workshop Hero- Metal Rescue) and it will clean up great! Everything works on this bike! 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Bolt Headlines Returning 2015 Models From Star & Yamaha

Bolt Like the FZ-09′s success, the Bolt is a smash hit for Star Motorcycles. So good, in fact, Star says the Bolt and Bolt R-Spec have been the best selling metric cruisers in all displacement sizes for the last 12 months ending in April of this year.
Yamaha FZ-07 Available Stateside In July

Priced at $6990, the new twin-cylinder FZ is set to hit dealer showroom floors this July as a 2015 model. Already available in foreign markets (our Canadian correspondent, Costa Mouzouris, reviewed the FZ-07 here) we’ve been awaiting word from Yamaha of US-bound FZ-07s with bated breath.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 2 Results
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.

Since its return at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the school has sold out in less than a half of season. There are any number of reasons this could be the case.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.

Mon, 02 Jun 2014It was a long time coming, but sidecar racer Conrad Harrison can add one accomplishment to his resume: Isle of Man TT winner. Harrison, along with passenger Mike Aylott won the first of two Sure Sidecar TT races. The win was the first for Harrison since he made his Isle of Man TT debut 21 years ago in 1993.
