1986 Yamaha FZ750, Original owner,63.5K mi, always garaged, currently wont start (needs carb work), newly rebuilt motor, 4-1 custom 'JET HOT' coated red exhaust, 'KERKER' carbon muffler, white powder coated wheels, near new rear tire(Bridgestone) & front tire (Pirelli Sport demon), Acrylic smoke windscreen, custom designed/refurbished 'SARGENT' seat upholstery. Recently the engine was removed to replace a bent shift fork, of which also included a thorough valve adjustment during reassembly. Anyone who has ever ridden this light and nimble original super-sport model knows how much fun it is to ride. My reason for selling is due to mechanical abilities beyond me. AMA Supercross: 2012 Phoenix Results

Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross win, taking the holeshot and leading every lap in Phoenix, Ariz. With an audience of 49,236 watching at Chase Field, it was the field that had to chase Dungey during the main event. Dungey jumped out in front at the first corner followed by JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps and defending AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki.

Suzuka Eight Hour capers

Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making  it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.

In addition to introducing a new two-stroke model, Yamaha has updated its flagship 4T enduro, the WR450F. The motorcycle used the YZ450F motocross engine layout with the cylinder turned back and the intake and exhaust turned 180 degrees. The engine is housed in a new aluminum frame based on the aforementioned YZ450F.
