Yamaha Other description
I am selling my 1971 Yamaha RT1 360 MX . I had the pair the Enduro and Mx but thining the herd I sold the Enduro and now I am selling the MX . I bought it a couple years ago from a retired friend , he ran it just to keep things working then I put it in my dry garage drained the gasoline and have not used it since other then rolling it around now and then and shifting the gears dry and do a a few dry kickstarts . I used the Enduro and the MX was too rare to valuable for me to run around in the dirt and dust in my area for that I have another horse . It is matching numbers . It was run on Gas/Oil mixture but the the 2 cycle oil tank and pump are all there just not hooked up . I also had new tires put on it when I bought it and they are still unused other than rolling it in and out of the garage . The original seat has a little tear on the left side One of the pictures shows the inside of the tank . The front brake is a bit soft it might need new pads at some point . I will assist with Transportation Uship always works well for me - can possibly have it delivered within a few hundred miles -delivery fee to be agreed upon ahead of delivery . |

Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba
Fri, 24 Jun 2011This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
Yamaha Kicks Off 2013 MotoGP Promotional Campaign with Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo – Video
Tue, 15 Jan 2013We’re just over two weeks into the new year which means it’s time for MotoGP teams to start the promotional push for their 2013 MotoGP programs. Ducati is set to reveal its Desmosedici GP13 today at its annual Wrooom ski event with Ferrari‘s Formula One team later today, but Yamaha has gotten the jump on its Italian rival by releasing new photographs and a video of ex-Ducati rider Valentino Rossi and reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo. Also revealed is the 2013 Yamaha M1, though the racebike is shrouded in graphical overlays of its pilots and devoid of any sponsor logos including the newly signed supporter Monster Energy.
Jorge Lorenzo Gets His Motorcycle License
Thu, 08 Mar 20122010 MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has earned his A2 Spanish motorcycle license. Last month, we learned Lorenzo was practicing for the test on a Yamaha YB250R motorcycle, and now the Yamaha factory racer has completed the practical portion of the test. Here he is pictured with his riding teacher Xavi Vallejo (and wouldn’t it be cool to tell people you taught a MotoGP World Champion how to ride a motorcycle?).
