This is a very nice 1974 T500 Titan 2stroke twin with just 8,656 miles. I am selling for a friend who purchased from original owner. After sitting for 30 plus years he opted to bore 10 over and install new pistons and rings. Everything works as one would imagine. The bike has a new battery and starts on first kick all lights and signals operate properly. All shipping arrangements are to be made by purchaser and would prefer pick up by shipper or buyer be made on weekend. If you choose to use buy it now full payment is to be immediate. I can safely store bike until pickup. All sales are final and bike is to be sold as is where is and will be bike pictured and described. Former AMA and World Superbike Champion Doug Polen has been named to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame class of 2011. “Any fan of motorcycle roadracing will remember Doug’s amazing – and dominating – championship runs on the AMA and World Superbike stages,” says Don Rosene, a member of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation Board of Directors. “At a time when the series saw plenty of fast competitors, Doug was clearly the fastest.

Suzuki Reports Q2 2012-2013 Results

Suzuki made headlines earlier this week when its American subsidiary filed for Chapter 11 and announced it is quitting the automobile business to focus on motorcycles and its marine operations. American Suzuki‘s car business has been struggling for a while and it remains to be seen how these developments will affect its motorcycle business. 2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results

James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
