Suzuki T500 description

DONT MISS YOUR CHANCE. Pair of scare, early Suzuki T500 Titans. Two stroke twins. 1969 and 1970. Both will require full restoration. Both are mostly complete. There some missing nuts and parts. Both engines were removed and mocked back together for photos. Please view all 24 photos. The 1970(light green) has matching engine, frame and clear Ohio title. T500-25164. Appears mostly complete except mufflers, some carburetor parts and some small items. Has surface rust all over. Has 1 year only tank with mount for tank rack(missing). Tank looks good albeit faded. No significant dents or damage. Very clean inside. The gauges are complete and mileage 14476 looks correct. The engine is frozen stuck but will probably free up after soaking. Appears all original. The machine rolls freely and old tires hold air. The 1969 (dark green) appears mostly complete. It has no title but I will provide bill of sale. T500-22146. The engine is free and sounds very good with strong compression. The engine is later and does not match. Engine # T500-105597. Has complete exhaust and nice set of complete carburetors. Chrome should clean up to driver quality but nothing mint or show quality. Rear fender has 1 bolt and appears crooked in photos. The tank has no significant damage or dents. Includes a nice set of original winged badges. The inside has surface rust and will need cleaned and or lines. Has the 1 year only diamond seat which is kind of hard and has some damage but I've ridden worse. The tachometer appears original but the speedometer with 746 miles appears later. Rolls freely and old tires hold air. The machine appears mostly complete but again both bikes are mocked to together so not all bolts are installed or included. Please view all 24 photos and ask all relevant questions prior to bidding.

Best Helmet Designs from the 2009 MotoGP Season

Thu, 22 Oct 2009

Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don’t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.

Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
