2002 Indian Spirit Motorcycle for sale. This bike is a Gilroy Indian and has an S&S motor and Baker transmission.

16,XXX miles. I ride it occasionally so it may go up slightly.

All amsoil oil changes. Fresh oil change done last month.
New plugs last month. New white wall tires 1200 miles ago. The bike is well maintained. It has normal wear and tear for a bike this age.

Includes: solo seat (tan), dual Corbin seat with back rest (black), bolt on windshield, custom lockable Indian saddlebags, huge parts/maintenance manual and CD, tons of spare gaskets and parts.

Hero Moto Unveils Leap Hybrid Scooter Concept, Claims 235 MPG

Indian manufacturer and former Honda partner Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a new hybrid scooter prototype at the 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The Hero Leap runs on a series hybrid powertrain with the battery-powered electric motor providing most of the power and the gasoline engine acting as a range extender, charging the battery and supplying power when the battery runs low. Hero claims fuel economy of up to 100 km/l, which translates to an eye-popping 235 mpg.

The government of India has laid out its budget for 2013-2014, increasing the import duty for large motorcycles. The news will impact several major manufacturers hoping to gain a stake in the world’s second largest motorcycle market. India has become the hotspot for manufacturers but one of the biggest obstacles they face is the duty India levies on luxury goods.
