1997 Springer Softtail (1997)
This is a 1997 Evolution motor Springer that I bought new in 1997. It is a low mileage bike. It has multiple upgrades as you will see in the pictures. The front end has just been serviced last fall by Two Brothers Motors in Clarksville, TN. I believe the Springers are not being made any more due to the high(er) maintainence of the front ends. It runs fantastic. There is nothing that needs to be done to this bike. The engine is oil tight. It does have some scratches in the front and rear fenders due to the saddlebags and bungii cords that have been used. It comes with two seats. One upgrade you can't see is the EV27 Andrews cam. '97 Custom Fatboy (1997)
You are bidding on a 1997 Harley-Davidson Fatboy. There are only 13,200 original miles on the bike from the day it left the dealer. Bike was purchased as a re-po in December of 2007. I guess it had been stored for a while because the owner either gave up on it or couldn't ride it any longer. I had it picked up by my local dealer for a complete going over. The engine is in perfect condition and only needed the carb cleaned out. After the initial inspection I started to create what you now see. All parts were installed new at the dealer. This bike can change from a head turning street bike to an awesome touring bike in just a few steps (see pic's). I've added tons of chrome a nacelle headlight kit along with all new led lighting. The windshield is removable as are the saddle bags. The seat changeover is one simple screw. I purchased this Harley three years ago from the original 70 year old owner..It is in very good shape with tons of chrome that he put on when he owned it.Color of paint is violet pearl.Only 25,700 older adult driven miles.The windshield is a bit faded.It has a mild cam and sounds great when it idles and when throttled up.I bought a new Harley original equipment battery Oct.'12.I also bought brand new Dunlop tires,new rear brakes,wheel bearings,and new ignition in May of this year. Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.

Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.
2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
