Harley-Davidson Softail description

1997 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic Softail, one of the cleanest and nicest bikes I've seen.  It looks more like a 3 or 4 year old bike, it runs flawlessly, starts every time, does not leak a drop of oil and sounds mean.  Good power and great sounding Harley installed Screaming Eagle Exhaust.  This bike has nearly every option available including the gold package, leather bags, twin clock and temperature gauges in the trees, white wall black letter tires.  Candy metallic burgandy paint job from Harley (factory) and near perfect.  The chrome is near flawless with only one bar on the right side that has a few small scratches in it, otherwise no damage, bike has never been down.  Engine is factory and has been thoroughly maintained by Harley, starts easily, pull the choke on a cold day and after a couple minutes of warmup it's ready to rip.  Tires are in good shape and were replaced last year.  Original mileage of 9050, has been inside since new, this bike was only rode on weekends on short trips in the country, never a daily driver or city bike.  Windshield is clear, paint is great, chrome is exceptional.  The leather is in good condition, the only leather with much wear is the piece on the tank, it is showing a slight amount of wear, otherwise leather is great.  Pictures really don't do this bike justice, you will not be disappointed in it.  I'm probably forgetting something, email and I'll answer asap.

Terms of purchase.
Cash upon pickup.
Wire transfer.
No checks, either personal or certified, too many scams out there for that.
I will deal with overseas, but wire transfer only, before pickup, no games.
You must have good feedback or I'll delete your bid.
If you are overseas you must clear up payment and delivery before end of auction, just send a question and I'll respond.

Heres the best part, as with all my auctions we start at 1.00 and no reserve, no games, where it lands it lands.  I will sell the bike to the highest bidder.

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.
