I got this BMW R60/5 two years ago after it was sitting in a indoor garage for about 9 years. It has triple Matching engine, ID tag & frame numbers (#2941524 ). This R60/5 runs and stops as it should be 40 years ago. All the lights and controls are all in working condition. This 1972 BMW R60/5 has the one year only (1970) very rare alley turn signal housing with reflectors which is much better looking. This very original R60/5 has original paint all around beside the rear fender which has been repainted to match the bike. The paint on the bike DOES show it's 40 years of using with normal dings and dents. The red seal in the gas tank is in REALLY well condition which can been seen from one of the photos. The tires are old but still useable, and a new set can be well used here. This is going to be the next big thing after /2 prices have been sky high. The reason I only put about 400 miles after the bike is done is because I have many others to exercise. This bike would be a great true original BMW vintage bike for a relaxing afternoon ride to get a coffee or cursing along the back roads. As I said, it runs and stops as it should be and does NOT leak. NO manual, tool kit, tool box or hand pump included.
