Helping my retired neighbor who is the original owner, sell his beloved pampered BMW which he bought off the showroom floor in 1971 when he was in his 40's! It only has 16000 original miles on it !!! It has not been ridden in a good 12 years or so. He had it COMPLETELY tuned up this summer. The left cylinder blows a little smoke but it should clear up if someone would just take it for a spin on the highway. He said that he added some oil additives and that it should burn out. I did notice the mirrors don't match and it includes the cover. This motorcycle was NEVER EVER ridden hard. It is ALL ORIGINAL. Tires are recent continentals.

Tue, 23 Feb 2010I’d like to ramble on about a dozen different things relating to this video, but the 3- minute, 19-second clip speaks for itself. However, once the engine is revving at high rpm, watching the cams, finger followers and valve springs seemingly freeze in action due to the incredible speeds, I was reminded of that whole “Dude, the faster I went the more everything around me seemed to slow down,” experience we’ve all heard about or experienced. Wed, 23 May 2012BMW is entering the scooter market this year with its C600 Sport and C650 GT maxi-scooters, but the German manufacturer almost entered the scooter segment nearly 60 years earlier. In the 1950s, BMW produced a pair of scooter prototypes it called the R10. The first prototype produced in 1953 was equipped with a 175cc Single producing about 8hp while the 1954 prototype (pictured above) was equipped with a 200cc producing about 10hp.
