2007 Yamaha YZF-R6, This 2007 Yamaha YZF-R6 is in very good shape with 16k miles. The blue paint is in great shape with some minor wear to the right side due to a light tip over. The tail section's leading edge has a scuff and the frame slider took the rest of the fall. The rider seat also has a slight tear on the left side as well as a scuff to the fairing. Seems like this could have happened when the rider was throwing his leg over the seat. There are a few aftermarket items on this bike such as GYTR carbon pipe, flush mount LED front signals, custom rear signals, painted white rear tire hugger and a licence plate relocation bracket. It also has the right side frame slider but on the left side is missing the puck. The tires are in great shape and the inspection will be done shortly which includes an oil change. Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.
Wed, 06 Jun 2012I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.

Thu, 15 Sep 2011Bumped into a riding instructor last weekend. Not literally, though, I'm pleased to add. The road had been closed by a big accident and we'd all been forced into the same coffee/petrol stop together. He had one pupil with him on a 125 Yamaha custom thing.

Key among the modest improvements is revised EFI programming for smoother, snappier throttle response, and front suspension is now full adjustability. The fork has new preload and rebound adjustments atop the fork legs, while a new compression damping adjuster is located at the bottom of the fork.
