Yamaha XS description
Yamaha XS650B 1975 For Sale, No Reserve! A true motorcycling classic with probably one of the best parallel twins ever made. This is a beautiful, low-mileage, great running, garage kept 1975 Yamaha XS650.
Bike cranks and runs great. Has electric starter that works, though I rarely used it as it kick starts easily. Replaced the carb in 2015 so it is basically brand new. All electronics work fine.
The seat is original and in great condition; there are no rips or tears. Obviously given its age there are some very light scratches here and there but extremely few given the age, and bottom line is that everything works as it should, it's quick and handles great.
A $300 deposit via PayPal will be required within 1 day of auction close. Balance of payment via Cash, Check or Certified Bank Check is required within 4 days. The title or motorcycle will not be released to shipper or buyer until all monies are received and clear. Shipping is totally up to buyer but will meet shipper at my home to transfer bike. Sale is Final.
Again; the winning bidder takes full responsibility for pickup and/or shipping at his/her cost.
This motorcycle is being sold "as-is/where-is" with no warranty expressed, written or implied.

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.Mon, 10 Feb 2014 00:00:00 -0800
