Attention vintage motorcycle collectors,here is a 1975 Yamaha XS500 project one owner with 2,188 actual miles! bike has been sitting inside storage for twenty years,title has been lost,i can give a bill of sale and pass along contact information of a title company that can aquire a new title for the winner of the auction,the vin plate is missing but the previous owner engraved the vin on the frame and that matches the engine #,motor kicks over with good compression with the kicker on the side of the bike,throttle is free,brakes don't work,needs a battery,carbs probably will need cleaning before the bike will run,tank looks ok inside,key is missing,clutch lever pulls in,tranni shifts threw the gears,there might be some rust here and there on the bike,might be a nut or bolt missing also and or other everything I have for the bike is in the pictures,selling as is although I don't see any major repairs that the bike will need,buyer will have to pay for shipping and locate there own shipper if one is needed I'm not sure there prices I have met with them several times usually uship.com,i can store the bike for one week after the auction ends sorry no longer,auction may end early because I might sell the bike before the auction ends,paypal or wal mart wire transfer accepted as payment if your not local,Thanks for looking and good luck bidding,im located in Minnesota,the bike is in storage and the zip code is 55304,Im always looking to buy old and or unwanted Motorcycles and Dirt bikes,Thanks Carl.2016-11-26 04:49:05Forest Lake, Minnesota, United States28400 -

Yamaha XS650B 1975 For Sale, No Reserve! A true motorcycling classic with probably one of the best parallel twins ever made. This is a beautiful, low-mileage, great running, garage kept 1975 Yamaha XS650. Bike cranks and runs great. Has electric starter that works, though I rarely used it as it kick starts easily. Replaced the carb in 2015 so it is basically brand new. All electronics work fine. The seat is original and in great condition; there are no rips or tears. Folks this is a real nice example of an original condition 1974 Yamaha XS650. I bought this bike from the second owner, who bought it from the original owners estate sale after his death. The original owner put all the miles on it, then parked it in the late Seventies in his kitchen in Missouri (mistake in movie, said California--it was Missouri) . I have for saIe a beautiful all Original 1975 Yamaha XS650B. I am the 2nd owner and as you can see this bike was always garaged and well cared for by it's original owner.
