At the heart of the 2013 Triumph America lies a traditional British parallel-twin which is the lightest in the class and delivers a maximum output of 60 hp , for a more pleasant riding experience. The Triumph America weighs only 250kg being one of the lightest bikes in its class and has a comfortable seat height of 690 mm.
For the year 2013, Triumph has also updated the America s chassis which now features new wheels and tires for improved handling and aesthetics.

Single sided chain adjustment
Wed, 14 Apr 2010We don’t get the manuals with our long term bikes and I didn’t want swallow my pride and ask triumph how to adjust the chain on the Speed Triple. For the life of me I couldn’t figure it out. The single side swing arm with centrally mounted disk is a work of art but how the hell you are supposed to adjust the thing?
Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
