Selling my 2012 red Thruxton, with 83xx miles. Always garaged and very well taken care of. Not a scratch or dent on it, in showroom condition. Runs perfectly.
I have a clear FL title for the bike in my name. Just selling because I bought another bike. I am the 2nd owner, and I bought it with only 600 miles. It had the first service done at the Triumph dealer; I have done all other services at or before Triumph's recommended intervals, always using full synthetic oil as recommended by Triumph. Completely stock except for the following: * D9 flat gauge mount (includes key relocation to upper yoke) * 19T front sprocket (stock is 18) * AI & O2 removal (done since I had other exhaust at one time, now has stock exhaust again) * Crankcase breather mod * Seat modified to allow storage under seat cowl. Seat panel flips down to store items under cowl (makes it a solo seat, but you can convert back to stock by getting a stock or other seat) * Locking helmet holder on LH side of bike added (can be removed) I have all the stock parts removed & they will be included Also: - New battery at 3300 miles (Nov 2014) - New rear brake pads at 6800 miles (Oct 2015) - New tires at 7500 miles (Jan 2016), Avon Roadriders, so only 700 miles on the tires Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. Deposit via PayPal of $250 due by 24 hrs after purchase, balance due before bike is picked up or shipped. I will accept a check, but it must clear the bank before the bike is picked up or shipped. 2015 Triumph 250 Preview
Mon, 18 Nov 2013With all the new motorcycles Triumph presented earlier this month at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, we were hoping to see the company’s new 250cc models. Unfortunately, the new small-displacement Triumph models (which made our list of Top 10 Motorcycles to Watch For at EICMA) were not yet ready to be revealed, though Triumph did offer us a glimpse of what to expect, with a sketch of its 250 sportbike. At Milan, the company referred to the sportbike as “Triumph’s New 250″, though it will get a proper name when it’s officially, presented as a 2015 model, likely at next year’s EICMA show or at Intermot in Cologne, Germany.
2014 Triumph Bonneville, Bonnevile T100, Thruxton and Scrambler Receive Minor Updates
Thu, 22 Aug 2013Triumph has updated its modern classics lineup for 2014 with minor styling updates for the Bonneville, Thruxton and Scrambler. Otherwise, all three models return unchanged mechanically with some new colors (the colors listed below were announced for the U.K. market; Triumph may have different options for the U.S.) The 2014 Triumph Bonneville receives a new pillion grab rail and a new vinyl seat with improved filler material to improve rider comfort.
Speed Triple gets new boots
Tue, 18 May 2010Since the spark plug incident last month resulting in the premature demise of the factory fitted Metzlers, I’ve had to find some new rubber for the Speed Triple. With the Triumph’s punchy engine Commuting 1800 miles a month on motorways and city roads, I need something that will cover decent miles but also be up for some frequent country lane antics. With the BT023’s Bridgestone claim longer life with solid wet weather performance for touring riders whilst satisfying the demands of the keen sport bike riders.
