Triumph Daytona description

First off I would like to apologize for re-listing and cancelling 2 first bids.. I was told that listing by smart phone apparently is not too smart. Thank you rollingmemories and yowl ... (I had some how listed under parts) Etc .... IT IS NOT A PARTS BIKE...

1972 Triumph T100R DAYTONA ... this bike looks Very original except tank and fender paint (may have been red/burgandy). Frame appears to be original paint. Brand new Amal carbs, tank cleaned and new fuel lines with inline filters. Both pet cocks removed, cleaned and working properly. New spark plugs. Old tire tread looks great but tires are very old and should probably be replaced.  I am open to questions and info as I don't know much about this cool bike. Reason for selling is I need more cash for a 1956 Chevy truck and bike is an unnecessary toy at this time. Odometer says 4070 and previous owner says he was told it is original.  Wiring etc looks orig.  Horn and lights work.  Have only started twice but it sounds great! (Knee duznt like it) Kick start only. Will need new/better battery (have to give bac battery to friend).  Have key for ignition but no key for steering lock.
Please ask questions ...
Bike is being offered for sale locally and may be withdrawn from ebay if sold before reserve is met.  There is surface rust and some pitting.  See pics Bike seat in good shape.
Numbers matching.
Please ask questions and any info about bike is appreciated.
New title in my name is "in the mail" from CA DMV.

THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING.

Triumph Rocket 3: Hope you like black

Tue, 29 Sep 2009

COLOURED PAINT must be thin on the ground at Triumph: the company's latest incarnation of their gargantuan Rocket 3 will only available in black when it's released early next year. And there's more torque, too: 165ft-lbs to be precise - up 15 per cent on last year. Triumph also say the new bike will offer "A completely different riding experience from its predecessor." Bold statement.

Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.

Gladstone Motorcycles to Produce Bespoke British Bobbers

Tue, 16 Jul 2013

Television presenter Henry Cole has ridden countless motorcycles as host of the British Travel Channel’s “World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides” program for 11 series, but he’ll soon be introducing a line of motorcycles of his own with his new Gladstone Motorcycles company. Named for Cole’s great-great-uncle, four-time British Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone, the new firm will produce limited runs of hand-built bespoke motorcycles. The company’s first model will be the Gladstone No.
