Triumph Bonneville description

1972 Triumph Bonneville. This is a British bike so the foot brake and gear shifter are opposite. This bike is almost 100% original. the exhaust is aftermarket and the tires are new as well as the battery. other than that it is to the best of knowledge original. The tank has been repainted many years ago and does show signs of traditional wear. this is an excellent riding bike and very fast for its size. i am not an expert on these bikes but please ask as many questions as you would like and i will answer to the best of my knowledge. i am the 3rd owner and it does come with the original keys and parts book and owners manual. 1. Please email me Via ebay for questions. 2. $500 depsoit is due at the end of auction within 24 hours. remaining amount needs to be paid prior to picking the bike up VIA paypal. or in cash when you pick it up. 3. will ship if you set it up and pay for it. 4. i can possibly meet half way for delivery between 150 mile radius.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

2012 Triumph Speed Triple R Unveiled at EICMA

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

Triumph’s legendary Speed Triple receives the ‘R’ treatment for 2012, which means it comes equipped with top-shelf parts like Öhlins suspension and Pirelli Supercorsa SP rubber. Judging from its looks alone, it’s plain to see that this is no ordinary Speed Triple. Triumph worked in close collaboration with Öhlins, to fine tune the NIX30 43mm fork and TTX36 shock to work specifically for the Speed Triple R.
