Yoshimura GSX1250FA EEC Approved Slip-On End-Can

JAPANESE TUNING house Yoshimura has released a series of EEC-approved Slip-On exhausts suitable for the Suzuki Bandit GSF1250SA and the new fully-faired Suzuki GSX1250FA.At over 3kgs lighter than the OE Suzuki item, each Yoshimura Slip-On comes with the pipe work to mount to the standard front section plus all parts (including muffler clamp) required for installation. The EEC-approved silencer features two dB-killer baffles, one in the link pipe, one in the can and when both are removed power and torque are increased over stock, claim Yoshimura. Schwantz Rides Suzuki RGV500 2-Stroke At Goodwood

Kevin Schwantz, the 1993 500cc World Grand Prix Champion, rode his iconic #34 Lucky Strike Suzuki RGV500 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend. Celebrating its 20 year, FoS, the world’s largest motoring garden party, held in West Sussex, U.K., brings together present and past dignitaries of both motorcycle and auto racing. The three-day event attracted upwards of 150,000 spectators this year.

2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Recalled for Defective Drive Chain

Suzuki Motor of America announced a recall on the 2014 V-Strom 650 ABS because of a problem with the drive chain. As of this writing, the recall campaign has not been posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but we expect this to be done shortly. Meanwhile north of the border, a similar recall has been announced for the 2014 Suzuki GSX650FA by Transport Canada describing a similar problem.
