Suzuki GSX / Katana description

2004 Katana 600 GSXF Beautifully styled with unmatched versatility. With dual headlights, a totally redesigned tail section and deep lustrous paint, the flowing curves of the Katana 600 stand out in a crowd.

Beyond its good looks, the Katana 600 delivers sport bike performance. The 16-valve engine features many of the advancements from the original, legendary GSX-R. The Twin Swirl Combustion Chamber (TSCC) cylinder head helps generate a wide and usable powerband. Direct air intake system and CV carburetors produce crisp throttle response while Suzuki Advanced Cooling System (SACS) dissipates heat with maximum efficiency for consistent power on the longest rides.

The advanced chassis and suspension systems provide sport-bike responsiveness and comfort for long rides. Its front forks have 41mm inner tubes for maximum rigidity and precise steering. The link-type rear suspension has a full-range of adjustments and the control for spirited riding. For long rides, a deeply padded seat and natural riding position keep you comfortable for hours on end.
Beautiful to look at, versatile and fun, the Katana 600 is loaded with value.

This bike has 5,053 original miles. I just recently had the Carburettors cleaned. (09/21/2013) If your looking for a good bike at a great price, this is it! The bike does have some road rash but nothing serious. This is not an amusement park... No joy rides serious buys only.... Cash in hand at time of test drive.  Clean Florida title in hand...

Schwantz School, the ultimate track experience?

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

If having one-to-one instruction from an ex-MotoGP World Champion is your dream, then why not put the Schwantz School on your Christmas list for 2012. Ok, it’s in America and slightly more expensive than your average track day ($2750 for two days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) but many satisfied customers will argue this is the best rider training experience in the world. Your hard earned Dollar will see you alternate between the classroom and track from 8am until 4pm, then Kevin will take you on a track tour where he explains riding techniques and answers questions (he even drives the bus).

John Hopkins British Superbike Round 2 Rundown

Tue, 06 May 2014

The Tyco Suzuki team is looking ahead to next week’s International North West 200 after a tough weekend at Oulton Park during round two of the British Superbike Championship. American John Hopkins took ninth place in Monday’s second race at the Cheshire venue after retiring from the opening encounter in the closing stages due to a problem sensor, which caused an intermittent misfire on his Tyco Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbike. His team-mate Josh Waters took a brace of 13th-place finishes for his Oulton Park efforts and despite his obvious disappointment, the Australian did significantly improve his lap times from his visit in 2013.

Philippine Superbike Champion in Fatal Accident

Four-time Philippines national superbike champion Maico Greg Buncio has succumbed to injuries suffered in a high speed crash May 14 in a qualifying session at the Clark Speedway Racing Circuit. According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the 22-year-old Suzuki factory racer high-sided after his GSX-R600 ran over some debris on the track. Maico reportedly rolled into an unfinished barrier and was pierced by a protruding steel bar.
