Moto Guzzi Ambassador description
This is a very nice Guzzi that I at one time put a ton of time and money into... my taste has changed and the Guzzi just sits so its time for it to go.
This bike was completely gone through when I first got it, new top end as the originals had chrome lining and I was worried about them, new spline gear in the rear that had to be custom made... added the Bates bags, replaced some wires, I have a huge list that I can provide to the buyer upon purchase but those are the highlights. I left the oil in the case, put seafoam in the tank, poured mystery oil in the heads and stored it 4 years ago. I have no doubt it will run and drive well once resurrected, I do not have the time or the interest in doing so... as you can see by other auctions I am cleaning house. I included a picture of the gear shift shaft, there is a spline shaft that accepts the shift linkage, that has come off in the past and may need to be reset, otherwise I have put many miles on her, very comfortable machine. I prefer pick up but would load for the shipper you provide |
