Kawasaki Other description

2001 KAWASAKI ZRX 1200, In 2001 Kawasaki saw fit to design a bike to look like the world championship-winning bike of AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer, Eddi Lawson. This is the ZRX 1200. This bike handles well, has a great, upright seating position, and has plenty of power. This bike is in good condition and runs great. It does have some damage in the front fairing as pictured. Other than that it is in great shape and just needs someone to ride it! We can always help with financing, parts, or service as well! A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
