Indian All description

1948 Indian Chief, 74ci. Restored 10 years ago by long time owner. Over $3000.00 spent to match

and paint in original "Indian Red".  As good looking a Chief as you will find anywhere. Chief starts, rides, shifts,

and stops as it should. This bike has only a few hundred  miles since gentleman had bike restored, rebuilt, and painted.

One trip the owner took before health issues set in was a trip from Indiana (trailer) to Colorado Springs, where his daughter lives.

He and his daughter then rode this Indian up Pikes Peak. This bike is ready for any show or any ride. The "Beck" tires appear

to be NOS, not Cokers.  I would not hesitate to use them, they are like new. A cyclelectric generator was added for reliability.

This is really a nice one, ask any questions, thanks for looking.

1916 Indian Board Track Racer

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

The simplicity of this 1916 Indian Board Track Racer is what makes it so beautiful. Board Track was popular during the early part of the 20th century where cars and motorcycles competed at these stadiums where the surface was composed of wooden boards. It was an idea copied from velodromes used across Europe for bicycle racing and ultimately led to the oval racing phenomenon - like NASCAR - that still captivates Americans today.

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

Legendary English marque, Matchless, is attempting to emulate another famous brand, Indian, by forming a comeback. After being purchased by the Malenotti family in 2012, the brand is now going through a revival. If you’re at all in tune with the fashion world, then the Matchless name might be familiar, as many A-list celebrities wear the Matchless-labeled clothing managed by Michele Malenotti.
