Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Honda VTR-Powered Lawn Mower Claims 133mph Top Speed

Honda UK has teamed up with its British Touring Car Championship partner Team Dynamics to produce what it calls the world’s fastest lawn mower. The Honda Mean Mower is powered by a 996cc V-Twin engine from a VTR1000F Superhawk, leading Honda to claim a top speed of 133 mph and a 0-60 time of four seconds. Based on a Honda HF2620 lawn tractor, the Mean Mower uses an all-new 4130 chromoly steel chassis and bespoke suspension and wheels from a Honda ATV.

The American Honda announcement was time to go along with Honda’s presentation at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, for the European market and Canada. But there was one model revealed at EICMA that wasn’t part of the U.S.
