You are bidding on a super nice Z 50 mini trail. I bought this bike about a year ago from the original owner. This is an early 1968 K0 first year bike. It has the painted fenders and no lights. The unique left side cover is excellent, as is the whole condition of the engine, which is original to this chassis. Low serials are Z50AE-108308 (engine) and 108505 (frame). This is the best running vintage hard tail Z50 I have ever ridden, and I have owned about 10 of these. This bike is not perfect - the tank has been repainted, but still has a ding in it - however it is the original Japanese Honda Motors mini trail tank, and not a cheap repro from India. The paint on the frame has been touched up and doesn't look as good in person as it does in the images - and could probably use a fresh coat of paint if you wanted to perfectly match the tank and have a fully restored mini trail.2016-07-14 04:48:14Missoula, Montana, United States112,100.00 -

Got this at an estate sale, The back fender had cought on fire some how, so i cut off burnt part and reinstalled it, The air cleaner box was scorched but still in working order, the stater wires where burnt so i spliced in new wire and taped up, Installed new battery, Cleaned points and carburetor ,Replaced petcock, Added premix gas and it started right up ,Have not hooked up oil injection system, Need to clean oil reservoir, No rust in gas tank but some varnishing of old gas, Got new tires i thought the fatter tire would fit on rear ( ONE SIZE OVER) But had to put on front so front fender was modified a little it is now on top of fender bracket, can be put back no extra holes were made. 1978 Honda pa 50 hobbit in good shape missing minor things like plastic nuts to hold on side cover and headlight was missing front cover re[laced with metal looks good but not original this little guy starts runs and petals good brakes work good it has a 2 cycle engine so you have to mix gas it moves you right along. the only problem is the carburetor needs a little more tuneing or a cleaning It runs great for a little while then sputters out to about half throttle. This project has been sitting a few years, did start it two months ago when it was brought out of storage, do not officially know if it is an 82 or 83, do not have a title, this basically needs to be gone through from end to end. What is cool though it that someone made a pretty detailed roll cage, tube nerf bars, and a riveted sheet metal body. Maybe this was a vintage racer in the 80's?
