                                                                                   1981 Honda Gold Wing GL1100

How so you describe such an awesome bike?  I am not sure how to describe it except to say that this Gold Wing is one of the nicest, best kept and best running Gold Wings I have ever owned.  I have the CLEAR TITLE to the bike in my name.  This GL1100 starts, idles perfectly, runs, rides, brakes, accelerates and handles precisely as a Gold Wing should!!!   It starts up instantly with the touch of the electric starter.  All systems work perfectly.  The lights, signals, everything works great.  The radio works great!!!  The tires are very nice and are ready for the road.  I have ridden this bike hundreds of miles with not one problem ever.

I do not want to go over board here with my description but this is a great Gold Wing.  It even has the original tool kit!!!   I feel it is one of the nicest 81's anywhere.  The previous owner told me he did all maintenance as required including replacing the timing belts at 40K.  He did not have receipts for the work because he did the work himself, however, by the way the bike feels, I believe him.

I decided instead of doing an auction, i would just put this "Wing" up for a BUY IT NOW or MAKE OFFER.

This way, you can own it now!!!     Priced to sell.  Enjoy!!!   Thanks so much!!!

Honda CG150 TITAN MIX

Wed, 11 Mar 2009

While there are certain countries around the globe that are known for their significant contribution to technological innovation within the motorcycle industry, Brazil has never been one of them. Until now, it seems. Brazilian Honda subsidiary Moto Honda da Amazonia Ltda., recently began sales of the CG150 TITAN MIX, a 150cc bike with the world’s first production flexible-fuel technology.

Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places

Fri, 28 Jun 2013

Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.

Buying countless tatty bikes. And that Marquez fella

Fri, 10 May 2013

A South African friend of mine called Trevor Binder told me last weekend I’m quite obviously in the advanced stages of a terrible disease. He recognises the affliction because he admits to suffering from the same condition for many years and so far hasn’t found a cure.  He says he can’t stop collecting bikes and while I didn’t think I had a problem, last weekend he pointed out I should be careful as I’m starting to acquire bikes at an alarming rate. I wasn’t really worried about spending a modest amount of cash an old KTM 125 race bike, a 350 LC and a Fizzy over the past six months but Trevor says I’m on a slippery slope.  He says it always starts with bikes that have some sentimental value but then swiftly moves on to buying any old tat.  Trevor is a wealthy man with dozens of nice bikes in his collection but more recently has been on Gumtree bidding for £150 Solex front wheel drive step - thrus, and doesn’t know why.  Closer to home, James Whitham has recently confirmed he may also have these symptoms and is actively seeking therapy.  I’ll be monitoring the situation from now on but in the meantime if anyone hears of a reasonably priced Raleigh Wisp for sale please let me know.
