Honda CL tech info
Honda CL description
Hello and good day. This auction is for a 1971 Honda CL100 Scrambler. Purchased used a few weeks ago, I have now decided to sell it as it is currently with a clear title. I believe the condition of the bike to be good. The engine runs normally, the lights function properly, and a carburetor from a previous owner has been recently installed. In addition, fresh fluids were inserted into the bike before the last purchase. I had purchased this bike without the right mirror, and there is only one key to the motorcycle. Please be sure to view and evaluate the images thoroughly before making a bid. If you are a collector (or a restorer) interested in this class of motorcycles, then this bike may be of use to you. As well (if you enjoy riding these types of bikes in their current state), this bike is acceptable to ride on the road (so long as proper preparations have been made for safety). The rear rack behind the seat will need to be secured before riding, and I would also strongly suggest replacing both tires. As you may notice in some of the images listed, there is a minor presence of rust in some spots on the bike. Most notably it exists inside the fuel tank, though the engine starts and runs with a few kicks. This bike does not include a warranty of any kind. As a side note: the total mileage may increase over the period of this listing. If you have any questions in regards to the bike, then please: feel free to ask. I am definitely not an expert on motorcycles, but I will try to assist you the best that I can. Finally, should you win the auction for this motorcycle, you must pay for any shipping desired. However, I can assist in loading if necessary. A deposit of $500.00 will be expected via PayPal (with the remainder being paid in full at pickup). There will be no refunds on this purchase. Thanks for reading this much, and I hope that all has been described well enough for a bidder to make an informed decision in purchasing this 1971 Honda CL100 Scrambler. Have a good day. |

Watch the Honda TT Legends Endurance Racing Team Complete a Pit Stop – Video
Fri, 19 Apr 2013Endurance racing and superbike racing have a lot in common. Both types of racing use similar machines and often feature the same riders. Some endurance races, the Daytona 200 perhaps the most notable of them, are included as regular points-scoring rounds in championships that otherwise feature rounds that are a quarter the length.
