Harley-Davidson Sportster description

2007 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Low, **Here Is A 2007 Harley XL883L Sporster Low With Just 1,385 Miles!!** - ONCE AGAIN, THE LOW IS PROVING THE COMFORTABLE WAY TO GO. The 883L truly lives up to its name for the 50th, with its saddle sitting lower than ever this year. Your backside rides just over 25 inches off the pavement, urged on by the steady cadence of an 883 cc Evolution V-twin. You’ll notice how the flat handlebar comes back to meet your fists, and the reduced effort on the clutch. It’s a feeling you’ll want to go on for eternity. But once in a while you’ve got to plant the side stand. That’s when the low seat makes it easy for a rider of any stature to set both boots down flat on the ground. You realize that the whole bike is designed with rider ergonomics in mind. Once again, low is proving the comfortable way to go.

Motorcycle Stirrups – Yes, They Exist!

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

What do you get when a lifelong horse rider and motorcyclist from Nebraska gets inspired to combine his two loves? Why, motorcycle stirrups, of course! The idea came to Devin Santana, proprietor of Nebraska City Iron Works, one day when he was riding his Harley-Davidson down the road and looked down at his feet.

Most Obvious Press Release Of 2013: Biker Chicks Sexier Than Pedestrians

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

In a misallocation of funds Harley-Davidson recently spent an untold buttload of money proving something men have known for years: That women who ride motorcycles are sexier and better between the sheets than women who don’t ride. Common responses from male motorcyclists to the press release were: Duh; Tell me something I didn’t already know; Can I be a recruiter? Meant to entice non-riding females into the Harley-Davidson army by pimping the Bar & Shield’s website, www.h-d.com/women, the press release was peppered with effeminate catchphrases such as “physical intimacy, “communication,” and “improves relationships” but the basal message is one of female motorcyclists being sexier, happier and more confident than their non-riding counterparts.

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
