2008 Harley-Davidson Softail FXCWC, 2008 Harley-Davidson Rocker C FXCWC W/Quick release saddle bags and 2-up hide-away seat. 9122 Miles (At time of posting). Bike includes Harley-Davidson's Extended Service Plan W/Tire and Wheel Coverage. Extended warranty plan term continues through September 2014. Features include an industry first seat design, which conceals a passenger pillion and struts under the solo seat cushion. To accommodate a riding partner. Lift off the seat and the pillion folds out to deploy over the Rockertail rear section. Brilliant chrome plating replaces most components finished with Satin Stainless Metallic powder coat on the Rocker, including the headlamp and triple clamps, the handlebar riser, the fork lowers, and the tank console and speedometer. The finished aluminum oil tank, frame and swing arm are color-matched to the sheet metal, which features a swirling pinstripe flame from fender to fender. Consumers purchased 57,415 new Harley-Davidson motorcycles worldwide in the first quarter, up 5.8% from the 54,254 units sold in Q1 2013. U.S.

Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle.However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
