2006 Harley-Davidson Street Glide FLHXI, Most Harley motorcycles are modified in some respect and this featured bike has some great accessories, plus awesome standard features for touring. It has a detachable padded passengers back rest and a chrome luggage rack. A fob operated Security System is installed so that you and your Insurance company can have some peace of mind (but a Pit Bull in your garage does a much better job). Its color is Vivid Black and it shines. Its most distinguishing feature is a set of Harley-Davidson heated hand grips. I have these on most of my bikes and they are great to take off the chill at 40 degrees but can be considered mandatory at 7 degrees. A Street Glide is a great mix of practical and efficient with a lot of style. Check out the unique wheels, the cut down windshield and the fairing mounted rear view mirrors. Because of their lowered rear suspension, Street Glides have a very low center of gravity which make the them a very stable bike to ride around town (with lots of space in their lockable/water proof saddle bags for groceries). Give a call to the Internet Twins- Bob or Dave and arrange a test ride on this versatile Harley Davidson FLHXI (the "I" in FLHXI stands for the optional fuel injection system which was installed on this Street Glide at the Harley Factory when new. Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.

Japanese Bike Shop Giving Away Harley-Davidson with Life-Sized Anime Character
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
