2003 Harley-Davidson FXSTB/FXSTBI Night Train, 100th Anniversary - Custom Chrome Z bars, and wide raked fork. Quick release HD backrest and luggage rack, Billet front wheel, High performance intake, square billet and rubber grips, Performance staggered/slashed exhaust. 100th Anniversary FXSTB/FXSTBI Night Train True, the dark profile is unmistakable. The blacked-out Twin Cam 88B engine and black components. The custom 150mm rear tire. The deep Anniversary coat, here in Gunmetal Pearl. The way the chrome pipes, rear disc and 21” laced front wheels contrast with all the darkness. But to really understand the Night Train, you have to get the true perspective. From in the saddle. So lower yourself into the minimalist seat, reach to the drag bars and extend your toes to the forward foot controls. Suddenly, you feel a riding position like nothing else. You roll on the throttle and hear the engine roar. Before long, the same primal urge that made cavemen go out and hunt woolly mammoths overtakes you. Good thing its always open road season.

He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...

Tue, 19 Jul 2011Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $190.6 million over the second quarter of 2011, thanks to the first year-on-year quarterly improvement in the U.S. market in nearly five years. For the three months ended June 26, 2011, Harley-Davidsons operating income totaled $301.9 million, a 38.0% increase from the $218.8 million reported in the same period of 2010.
