FRAME: Shovelhead frame painted black that has been hardtailed at Billings Rebuilders. Frame has all stock dimensions and rake. Neck was windowed. Has floorboard tabs that im using as mid                           mounts.

 

MOTOR: This is a 93" big bore stroker. It has Harley cases that match with Harley numbers. With a clean Harley Davidson WI title. The entire motor was gone thru and rebuilt at Warren's Cycles in                        northern ILL. 2 winters ago. I would say it has around 8k on the rebuild.

 

     S&S dual plugged heads, S&S big bore cylinders, S&S flywheels and rods, S&S 514 cam, S&S oil pump. Chrome rockers with minor pitting. Roller rockers with solid lifters. 8:1 stock pistons

 

IGNITION:  Stock OEM panhead dual point manual advance distributor. It has 2 new DYNA dual lead coils. 12V system. No wasted spark. Each point fires a cylinder.

 

BARS:  Mini ape style chromed this past winter. It has a STREAMLINE DESIGNS internal throttle. Only DOT approved internal throttle on the market. very smooth and reliable.

 

WHEELS:  21 inch star hub rebuilt this year with a new rim and spokes in front with an AVON SPEEDMASTER that has around 1500 miles on it. 

                 16 inch star hub with a juice drum brake in the rear. It has an AVON MKIII on it with around 8000 milkes on it.

 

FRONT END: 10 over extended HARLEY DAVIDSON springer with HARLEY rockers. It has inner and outer springs on top and bottom. It was extended back in the day so it has some wear on the                                chrome.

 

TRANSMISSION:  4 speed ratchet top with jockey shift. it has a 26 tooth transmission sprocket. it has a PRIMO RIVERA PRO CLUTCH ( No lurching at stops) with a 1 1/2 inch BDL belt set up.

 

TANKS AND FENDER: Tank is a 2.7 gallon chrome peanut tank that has been frisco'd. chrome shows slight scratches and a small repair on the bottom left side. Oil tank is a repop rigid frame oil tank.

    Fender is a trailer fender made for this bike. it has been chromed. Tanks, bars, top clamp, fender, and misc brackets were all chromed this past spring.

 

SEAT:  The seat was custom made for this bike by PIERCE STREET SEATS in milwaukee. its made out of real leather NOT vinyl. The bottom foam will not soak in water and the top layer is gel pad. It               also has a stash pocket for glasses or whatever.

 

CARB: S&S SUPER E recently rebuilt. GOODSON air cleaner

 

MISC: It has a heavy duty o-ring chain that was purchased this spring. Cool shift knob with a chic taking her bra off.

2014 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic Recalled

Harley-Davidson is recalling the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Classic trike  because of a problem with . At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
