1955 FLE Panhead with 1966 shovelhead tops and barrels. Unaltered 55FLE vin boss. numbers out of the dmv system so the bike comes with a bill of sale. 1952 right case with repair at rear motor mount. Cases were line bored and run together. 1938 trans with later oem kicker cover and -52 ratchet top. Also Comes with complete OEM Panheads for a conversion. 1958 drop seat frame is uncut (except squish pipe tab) Midstar rear wheel out back with OEM complete bendix juice brake, new fresh rebuilt 33.4 superglide front end. Zel gas tanks and repop rear fender. All wiring is cloth and all there. I've ran the engine and I've used the trans. I took the topend off the motor to do a full rebuild but I am going in another direction. This motor sounded good to me before I tore it down. The 1966 Shovel heads on this motor were on a different motor i own and worked flawlessly for me. The pistons, barrels, and lower end were run together i only added the 66 heads. The panheads I am including need some work. Valves, springs, etc. The Transmission is very nice and i have used it in another bike but will need to be freshend up. I know it is missing one roller bearing around the main shaft. When i pulled the main seal out a bearing was lost... What you see is what you get... Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
2014 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic Recalled
Tue, 08 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is recalling the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Classic trike because of a problem with . At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.
