Ducati 1098s

The Ferrari of sport bikes! It features high performance 43mm Ohlins fully adjustable FG511 fork, Ohlins fully adjustable 46PRC shock absorber, Ohlins steering damper, lightweight forged and machined Marchesini wheels, a carbon fiber front fender, plus Ducati's all new DDA (Ducati Data Analysis) logging system.

All these features make the S model a very special machine, and
Ducati
claims the 1098S is the most powerful and lightest twin-cylinder superbike in history. The engine remains the same as the standard 1098, but the featured add-ons provide you with an unbelievable package on what is already a ground-breaking superbike.

Ducati won the elegance pageant with color effects

These touches were enough to transform the bike and win an award, despite the fact that there is nothing conceptual in it. But what the hell - it's a beauty!

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
