This auction is for one 1996 Ducati 900 SS CR motorcycle in original condition with only 715 actual miles! this bike has been garage stored for over 15 years! it was traded in by the original owner who only rode it for one short season! the bike was stored in a dry garage and is in excellent condition, normal wear items will have to be addressed before riding the bike. We haven't even wiped the bike down, it is dusty but seems like it would shine like new once detailed. Ducati CEO Domenicali Talks 899 Panigale, Audi and MotoGP Performance

Following the debut of the new 899 Panigale during Audi‘s presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Ducati held a separate, smaller press conference with the motorcycle press at its headquarters in Bologna, Italy, to discuss the new “Supermid” sportbike and the company’s Chief Executive Officer Claudio Domenicali discussed the state of the company after a year under its new ownership. “Audi is a stakeholder who wishes to be involved in the technical development of the company and to focus its efforts on product development. Now, a year after the acquisition, it is time to take stock of the initial results and look to the future with a positive and proactive attitude,” says Domenicali.  “Ducati achieved record sales in 2011 and again in 2012 when over 44,000 motorcycles were delivered to customers.

2012 FIM Road Racing Homologation List Released – Ducati 1199 Panigale Not Listed

The International Motorcycling Federation has released a list of homologated motorcycles for the 2012 Superbike, Supersport, Superstock and Formula Endurance World Endurance championships. The list includes all the motorcycles that are allowed to compete in each of those world championships. Notable for its absence however is the new 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale.

Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places

Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.
