    Offered on Ebay right now is a pristine (2005) 200x Eddie Trotter Thunder Cycle Softail, one owner has kept this bike in showroom condition.  This bike has a 113 cu in s & s motor with a 6 speed right side drive transmission and a primo Rivera brute 4 belt drive.  The frame was built at Thunder Cycle with 44 degrees rake, it was built with plus 4 in the downtube and 5 inches in the top tube, it has a drop seat with progressive softail shocks, rear wheel holder, 300 mm Metzler tire.  The front forks are 63 mm inverted with the 21 inch front wheel.  Wheels were built by RC Components.  The Jeffrey Phipps seat was made out in a baby crocodile color is Conjac.  the brakes are Hawg halter 4 piston in chrome.  The bike has 4K miles.  Originally paid $95k.     There is too much to type so I will try and sum it up. Bike is extremely fun to ride, yes there are some common issues with Bourgets, but fortunately for who ever buys this one they have all been addressed.  Motor has been a bear since day one, never had an issue. I did however replace original open primary completely with primo. Also replaced 6 speed about a year or so ago, have all documentation.  Completely rebuilt braking system, both master cylinders and both calipers were completely rebuilt, as well as all new brake lines and pads.  Regular maintenance every year, bike is not one of those choppers that is a museum piece.  I ride this bike everywhere, its a blast! Better hold on because it will blow you off the seat. Have a passenger seat that just sticks on rear fender, frame is rigid but springer front end makes ride better than you would think.  Have had my fun with bike, would love to keep but could use cash for other things at moment.

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Terms of the transaction, including purchase price, were not disclosed. Under the deal, Bonnier acquires Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, Dirt Rider, Motorcycle Cruiser, Hot Bike, Baggers, Super Streetbike, Street Chopper and ATV Rider.
