2000 Buell Lightning X1. Terrific condition with 10,500 mis currently, but will change since bike is still being ridden. Bike has following upgrades: Vance and Hines exhaust, K&N air filter, Buell Factory light weight polished wheels, upgraded adjustable clutch and brake levers, new tires (changed since photos were taken), fresh plugs, fresh Amsoil in engine and transmission, Buell racing ECM, Upgraded Works coil over shock with remote reservoir, professionally installed. Bike adult owned and always stored inside. This is the best handling bike I have ever owned and rides well. The 1203 VOLT Twin engine has impressive torque and overall performance. Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

Larry Pegram’s EBR 1190RX AMA Race Livery Looks Sharp!

In January news broke that Larry Pegram would be teaming up with Erik Buell Racing to race the 1190RX in AMA Superbike. At the time no official photos were revealed, but that’s all changed as Pegram posted these pictures of his completed 1190RX in full race livery on his Facebook page. These photos were captured during team testing in Florida, and the colors show off the all-American design motif.

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
