Buell 1125R description

2008 BUELL 1125R 5,595 miles! For sale by owner (no sales tax, no dealer fees)! I bought this bike a year ago from a local dealership. This bike is in GREAT condition and is ride ready. I only took it out of the garage five times (the back seat is a little too small for my wife). The Buell 1125R is a sport bike that was manufactured by Buell Motorcycle Company in the United States. Unlike other Harley Davidson -powered Buells, the 1125 has a far more powerful Rotax v-twin motor. The 1125R uses a drive belt instead of a chain, and the patented frame design houses the bike's fuel, and features a 375 mm (14.8 in), inverted rotor that is directly attached to the bike's front rim. 25th anniversary signature edition. EBR First American Sportbike To Score Points In WSBK, Makes History

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

The EBR 1190RX had its best finish to date in the FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK) series during the only US round at Laguna Seca in Salinas, Calif., this past weekend. In an exciting twist, the wild card entry of Larry Pegram running the #72 Foremost Insurance/EBR/AMSOIL/Hero entry garnered a 14th place finish in the second race, earning the first-ever WSBK points for an American motorcycle manufacturer.  [In actuality, Pegram's EBR crossed the line in 16th place. However, the two Bimota BB3 entries who finished eighth and ninth with riders Ayrton Badovini and Christian Iddon, respectively, have had their finishes nullified all season because Bimota has not met the FIM's homologation requirements.

Polaris Industries, the parent company of Victory Motorcycles, announced this week it will form a new on-road vehicle division. The official announcement says the new division “maximizes cohesive and strategic growth for Victory Motorcycles and other on-road products and brands”. Which begs the question: what other on-road products and brands?
