BMW R-Series description
I have decided to sell my BMW ex police Motorcycle. It is an ex Oregon Police bike. It has full crash bars and luggage. It is in pretty decent condition with a few nicks in the white paint here and there. Everything works. It has Heated grips, power windshield and a couple of cool lights. I also put a K+N filter on. The bike is at 68,000 miles and runs and drives great. I just did a full tune up and took it to Westside Motorsports for a valve adjustment and throttle body sync. The bike is also fuel injected and has ABS Brakes that are servo assisted. There are two Code 3 4 head LED lights just behind the seat that are amber and were left there by the department. I wired them into the turn signals for great turning visibility and they work great. There is also a Whelen 500 series brake light as well as the stock light on the back. The seat has 2 small tears not very noticeable but they are still there. Please ask me any questions you can think of as I am happy to answer. buyer will be responsible forshipping or picking up, but I will be as helpful as I can. Mon, 29 Apr 2013Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races.
