California BMW R1100 RTP this bike was professionally converted in 2010 from a CHP bike to a Beautiful blue touring bike. Clean registration until Feburary 2017. Bike was stored in a garage for most of its life. Bike starts right up and warms up in just a couple of minutes. Bike starts right up every time.Was fully converted into a touring bike with side cases. Bike has never given me any problems. Tires are in good conditon. Bike currently is slipping out of first gear into neutral. Bike runs fine once its in second gear. Bike never been in an accident. Just once didn't put down the kickstand properly and the mirror broke. I have the Maintance manual and supplementary riders manual. Bike was purchase in 2010 for $5055 at Cal Coast motorsports I have all the receipts and services done since then. Bike was in winterized storage from 2012-2015 Rear Crash bars-$550 Upper rear Crash bar-$50 Extra keys -$50 Cover -$75 top and side bmw cases -$900 Ztechnik engine guard- $313 Battery$75 Buyer is responsible for pickup and shipping. New: Touratech Ambato Exp tank bag for BMW R1200GS
Wed, 18 Sep 2013TOURATECH now makes an expandable tank bag to match BMW’s R1200GS in red and silver. The touring accessory firm’s "Ambato Exp" tank bag has been on sale for a month but until now only in black or black and white. It features a model-specific base plate for quick-release attachment to the R1200GS, waterproof inserts and Cordura fabric described as “tear proof”.

There are so many new bikes coming out at the 2013 EICMA show, it was hard enough to narrow it down to just 10, but that doesn’t excuse us forgetting BMW is adding another model powered by the new R1200GS‘ liquid-cooled boxer engine. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage The peak numbers for the R1200RT are the same as with the GS, with BMW claiming 125 hp at 7700 rpm and 92.2 ft-lb at 6500 rpm.
BMW Launches New National Television Ad Campaign – Video
Fri, 01 Mar 2013BMW Motorrad USA has launched a new national ad campaign, its first in the U.S., according to the company, in over 20 years. The new ad campaign – “Feed Your Restless” – begins today, March 1, and will run more than 1,500 times through June on Velocity, Speed, Fuel TV, the Sportsman Channel, ESPN, ESPNews, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and the National Geographic Channel. BMW has produced four commercials for the campaign, three that will run nationally and a fourth for dealers to use for their local markets.
