BMW R-Series description

Strong runner, starts every time.  Electrical all working.

The BMW R90/6 was the top of the line model that BMW offered at the time. Equipped with their largest engine at the time a 898cc unit that produces just under 60hp. It was an instant success. Customers bought the R90s very quickly and in large numbers. And with their larger engines, BMW was able to convert some of the sport-bike, Kawasaki riders into BMW riders.

This custom BMW has been outfitted with a Ural Sidecar and all necessary components.  This includes a spare sidecar wheel, and lighting.  The BMW has been very well taken care of mechanically and has some very unique accessories, including hard sided saddle bags, 2 up bench style seat, rear passenger floor boards, rear luggage rack.  Auxiliary external emergency gas can.  Custom made fairing with lower leg protectors.

This BMW starts right up and runs and drives fantastically. No stalling or sputtering. The engine is very strong. Will need some brake work, but does stop perfectly fine in its current state.  The sidecar includes its own braking system.  With a little clean up work, you will have yourself a truly unique Sidecar Motorcycle. One that will last for years and remain a sought after piece of machinery. This BMW/Ural sidecar motorcycle will make for a great project and riding motorcycle.
