1972 BMW R50/5 excellent running condition. Everything works except the tach needle. Numbers match. 29,463 miles. Bike is complete with toaster tank and factory luggage bags. 1972 was the first year for toaster tanks. As nice as you are ever going to find. Anyway, not quite sure where I'm going with that one, so here's a rather lovely clip of BMW's much-lauded S1000RR getting a stationary pasting on a dyno. Not sure I'd be standing at the rear, mind you.
