2012 BMW F650GS, What a nice F650GS twin this is. It is a one-owner bike we sold new and it has a factory build consisting of:- ABS- heated grips- on board computer- tall windshield- clear turn indicatorsThe previous owner added tasteful goodies; the BMW handguards, BMW aluminum enduro skid plate, BMW front beak extension, BMW bag mounts, BMW center stand, ALT Rider engine protection bars, ALT Rider luggage rack and bar risers. After taking the bike in we completed a safety inspection, changed the oil and filter and flushed the brake circuits. Just before trading the bike in the previous owner had us complete a 12,000 mile service at 12,821 miles on 10/1. This bike is up to date on it's scheduled service and covered by factory warranty through 11/27/2015. If you're looking for a clean and well-serviced bike this one has to be considered. Ohlins Issues Recall Notice For BMW S1000RR And R1200R Steering Dampers

Ohlins is issuing a recall notice for select aftermarket steering dampers for the BMW S1000RR and R1200R. The company believes the bracket holding the damper in place to be improperly machined, and a probable material defect in the aluminum alloy could cause stress fractures. Ohlins states that although “there is no risk for losing control during normal riding,” there is a risk the bracket will fail during slow-speed maneuvers, where the bars are turned at maximum steering angle.

2014 BMW US Prices Released – R nineT Only $800 More Expensive than R1200R

If you’ve been considering a new BMW motorcycle this year, then you must be eagerly awaiting the German manufacturer to release its 2014 prices. Now that your Christmas bills are paid off (at least, you would hope), you can start budgeting for your new Beemer, now that BMW Motorrad USA has released pricing information for the five newest models to its lineup, the R nineT, S1000R, R1200GS Adventure, K1600GTL Exclusive and R1200RT. Perhaps the most welcome news is the R nineT’s pricing at $14,900, making it just $800 more expensive than the R1200R‘s $14,100 price tag.
