2011 BMW R1200GS, *New arrival* This is a nice R1200GS in Sapphire Black with a factory build consisting of: - heated grips- hand guards- saddle bag mounts- ESA II- on-board computer- integral ABS II- cross-spoke wheels If you're looking for a low mileage GS that is still under factory warranty this is a good one to get. We can only fault it for a few small blemishes on the tank, spark plug covers and the tip of the muffler. Completely stock except for the taller ZTechnik clear windshield. BMW Recalls 4,453 Motorcycles and Scooters for Side Stand Switch Problem
Thu, 13 Mar 2014BMW has initiated a recall on several motorcycle and scooter models because of a problem with the side stand switches failing in wet conditions. The recall affects 4,453 vehicles from the 2013 model year including the C600 Sport and C650GT scooters, F700GS, F800GS, F800GS Adventure, F800GT, R1200R and R1200GS. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, water may enter the side stand switch on affected vehicles from riding in wet conditions or even from vigorous washing.
BMW Reports 14% Sales Increase in US in 2012

Greg Tracy to Ride Amarok P1A Electric Sportbike for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Canada’s Amarok Racing has secured quite a coup in signing six-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Greg Tracy to ride its P1A electric superbike for the 2013 edition of the event. Tracy has six class victories in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning in 1996, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. His victories have come riding motorcycles from several manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, BMW and, more recently, Ducati.
