BMW Other tech info
BMW Other description
So, for the "works" details. Bike has the following:
- G450X of course
- WP Traxx rear shock ($2,000 shock)
- Speedbrain triple clamps ($700)
- WP 48mm forks with Ohlins TTX cartridge ($1,900 all in)
- KTM front wheel ($150)
- Akropovic exhaust (header and muffle), the factory one with a resonator ($1,700)
- Speedbrain seat ($250)
- Pivot pegs ($170)
- Zeta flexibile levers ($200)
- TT racing throttle tube ($76 - the kind that runs on bearings)
- TT folding brake lever ($66)
- TT carbon rear cyclinder guard ($77)
- TT (header guards (for both the header and resonator chamber $125)
- TT luggage rack ($60)
- Rear tubliss ($100)
- Maxxis EN tires ($150)
- BMW aluminum skid plate ($200)
- GPR stabliizer ($450)
- Rear BMW racing light and small LED directionals ($125)
- original triple clamps, front wheel, rear shock, tail light, race mulffler and a range of filters etc
I think I will stop there but I suspect there are other things I am missing.
So, the above plus bike is roughly $15,500 all in ($7k for the bike & $8,500 in extras). Needless to say this is not your typical g450x - this setup is what would be run at the pro level. To bad I am just a 45 year old family guy who gets a little caried away with his toys !
Also, for what its worth the engine has not been tinkered with in any way. All stock with amazing EFI.
