BMW Other description

1994 BMW K75 S, runs and shifts just fine, no leaks, starts the first time, no mechanical problems the BMW K series was the first bike to have ABS and fuel injection BMW side bags in the pics and a Clymer manual included the good - In the last year new tires* new brake pads* new fuel pump* new battery* new electric radiator fan It has spent most of its life in a garage (last owner) or parking garage where I worked ABS still works. I'd rather not know this, but it was useful a few times sharing the road with some knuckleheads. It has always started the first time, every time, even in the middle of winter. ~1000 miles since the last oil change No leaks! the bad - cosmetic wear not too bad, but enough for me to lower the price below KBB's best guess...quite a bit. Dangit. right blinker and right side of the fairing damaged when parked on soft/hot asphalt (WITH THE CENTER STAND) and it tipped over. hazard light switch does not work Hard bags came from another bike that was laid down. The right side is scuffed, but they both work just fine. rear brake squeals a bit even with new pads left rear turn signal works fine, but the mounting is cracked/broken *this was done by the previous owner in the spring 2012. Since then, I have ridden my k75s ~3500 miles. Keith (214)535-4104 $2,000.00 2145354104

Works on Bikes: EX BMW

Thu, 22 Aug 2013

Take a 1991 BMW K100, put in a whole load of creativity and 99 hours of effort and you get this: the Works on Bikes EX BMW. Called the EX BMW because the two guys and girl behind this custom from Milan only kept the engine and part of the original frame. It uses wood, steel, laser machining, CNC and probably the odd bash with a hammer.

2013 BMW R1200GS Telelever Problem Explained in Transport Canada Recall

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

Earlier this week, we wrote about reports in the Italian media of a delay on deliveries of the 2013 BMW R1200GS because of an issue with the suspension. Transport Canada has now issued a recall notice on BMW‘s new GS – the third to come from the Canadian government agency – that would explain the delay. According to Transport Canada, the threaded plugs securing the fork tubes to the upper triple clamp may come loose over time on some units.

BMW S1000RR drag bike

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

Whilst stretched out bikes aren't that popular over here in the UK, you can certainly appreciate them a whole lot more more when you know they're going to be used at a drag strip. This video shows bike builder and ex-racer Roland Sands work his magic on a BMW S1000RR. Future plans are to increase the engine to 300bhp, and achieve speeds of 220mph.
