At our dealership we work very hard to accurately describe our vehicles through text descriptions and elaborate photos. When you purchase a pre-owned vehicle it is not a new vehicle. Any used vehicle can have normal wear and blemishes. Before placing a bid please read the descriptions thoroughly and view all pictures. PLEASE NOTE: Both Genuine H-D and aftermarket Parts & Accessories shown in pictures of a vehicle may have been removed or changed since the pictures were originally taken; be certain to doublecheck with your salesperson the presence and condition of any accessories prior to finalizing a deal!

- Fully Detailed - We had this '86-model Harley-Davidson fully-detailed prior to picture-taking and can have it cleaned again before either shipping or in-person pick-up.
- Glossy Paint - Apparently garage-kept, this custom-painted (the original factory color by V.I.N. was "two-tone Signal Red & Creme" - appears the previous owner tried to stick with the dominant primary color) Evo-era Harley sports paint that is still glossy and largely free of both scratches & swirls!
- Little Visible Rust - And overall we'd consider this 1986 Harley-Davidson FLSTC (it's a "Heritage Softail Classic" by V.I.N. if not appearance) to be in Good condition cosmetically, particularly in light of age. We will be selling it *As-Is* as an *EASY PROJECT BIKE* for the reason(s) noted in the separate section labeled "Mechanical," but from a cosmetic standpoint it's entirely solid. On the negative side of the ledger the bike's been dropped at least once in its life on the right-hand side (see scratched pipes in the pics), the rear fender/seat nut screw is missing, there's some peeled chrome on the handlebar risers, and (consistent with age) the black on the motor's exterior has lost some of its finish. On the positive side of things the motorcycle has received extensive customization, including the unique handlebars & grips, a forward control kit, a two-up Le Pera leather seat, side mount license plate, and quite a bit of added chrome - inner/outer primary & swingarm, for example. - (Almost) Starts Right Up - We're selling this 1986 Harley-Davidson FLSTC (it's a "Heritage Softail Classic" by V.I.N. if not appearance) as an *As Is-Without Warranty* *EASY PROJECT BIKE* for two mechanical reasons: 1. Although the prior owner RODE the motorcycle here to be traded-in he was upfront about having had issues with the starter motor - still accepted the trade, and not long thereafter we went to start this '86 Evo and the starter engaged & would not "let go." We quickly shut off the ignition switch & disconnected the battery to prevent future damage - might need a new starter motor, or perhaps the buyer knows another fix? And; 2. Like many Evo-era Harley-Davidson this one WILL "mark its territory" just a bit, leaving a dime-sized spot of oil from underneath the crankcase after it's been sitting for a while. - Michelin Commander motorcycle tire on the Front, due for replacement for tread depth/tread wear reasons - Dunlop bike rubber on the Rear, in good shape with greater than 3/4 of the the tread life left. - Please note that while the odometer reads 13,287 this mileage reading seems highly unlikely for a motorcycle of this age. Either way, due to that age this bike is considered "TMU" / True Miles Unknown / or mileage-exempt, depending upon the phrase you choose to use.

Out of State Buyers
Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license if paying cash or arranging their own financing; customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state under this scenario. Out of state buyers using Cowboy Harley-arranged financing WILL be charged TT&L appropriate to their home state and these taxes/fees will be paid on their behalf. Documentary fees and Texas V.I.T. do apply in either case.
Taxes and Fees
In-state buyers will be charged state and local taxes, title, registration, and documentary fees. Our documentation fee is $125. All sales transactions must be completed within 7 days of auction close.
Deposit
We require a $500 deposit within 3 days of winning the auction of a pre-owned motorcycle (OR BEFORE THE END OF THE CALENDAR MONTH, whichever occurs first). A $1,000 deposit is required on any new bike. Please call the dealership to make arrangements for payment.
Auction Policies
Customers with zero or negative feedback on eBay Motors please contact us prior to bidding. Otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your bid. Understand this is only to protect the integrity of the auction. Winning bidder must contact the dealership within 24 hours of the auction close, make payment of a security deposit within 3 days (OR BEFORE THE END OF THE CALENDAR MONTH, whichever occurs first), and the purchase transaction completed within 7 calendar days. We reserve the right to re-list or sell the vehicle in the event of a no-contact/non-paying bidder.
Buyer Pickup
A representative from our dealership can be available for pickup at area airports or bus terminals when necessary. Buyers must schedule pickup prior to making travel arrangements.
