Description

Large edition (not mini), 72 pages. Feature: President Roosevelt goes to sea on U.S.S. Indianapolis, 5 pages; West Point Military, 5 pages; Hannigans Girls; Mapping the Yukon; Argentina-Buenos Aires. FOOTBALL: 1/2 page photo of seniors at South Western College, Memphis which includes Captain, Thayer Houts-see photo. (This has art, in color, by Hitler, not in the photos).
CONDITION:  Good - cover has light soiling, creases, scuffing; faint ring in the center. Pages look good-clean and white, minimal age toning. They have handling wear. One double page in the center are loose. Non-smoking home. These were well loved magazines, acquired from an estate.

Military: APO, FPO, DPO - Wait for me to send an invoice with correct shipping. Do not select economy or media mail-items are shipped at domestic 1st class or priority rates. There is no media mail and economy shipping will arrive in 30 days or more. I cannot ship your item until the correct shipping cost has been paid. It may take 2-3 days for me to ship your item because it requires a customs form and a trip to the post office. (My mail carrier picks up my packages).
International buyers: Shipping cost calculated by weight; or shipped in a flat rate box.
Packing: Items are carefully packed & padded, corners protected to ensure safe shipping. Ads are placed in a magazine sleeve; shipped between heavy cardboard in a bubble mailer. Heavy items are boxed.
Returns: If you are not satisfied with the condition, I accept returns within 14 days. Buyer pays return shipping. I will issue a refund when I receive the item. Must be in same condition as received by buyer.

Conditions

Items sold as is, but please email me if you are not satisfied. We will resolve the situation.
Ads: Vintage ads usually show some handling wear which is normal. Significant flaws are noted. Handling wear includes stress marks, surface rubs, print transfer; minor corner/edge creases that will not show when framed. Tears and stains are noted.
Books are as described. I grade conservatively and provide details and photos. Generally books are in good or better condition. Some may be acceptable or poor but are always noted.
Magazines are as described. I sell only magazines that I am comfortable handling and browsing; no odor; no mold/mildew; no smoke. I try to check for completeness/all pages present. Used magazines will show page handling wear. Some vintage magazines may be acceptable or poor, but are always noted.
Other Items are as described.

Payment

If item is not paid within 4 days of auction, I will send a 2nd invoice. If I do not get a response, and item remains unpaid after 7 days, I will start "unpaid item" process through ebay, which is a lot of hassle. Please respond to my 2nd invoice and specify when you will pay for item.

I can hold items if you are bidding on listings that end on different dates, so you can pay at one time.

Shipping

I ship Monday through Saturday and usually do next day shipping. Note the post office closes early on Saturday. Items are packed to withstand shipping and handling, so they arrive in good condition, even if the packaging has been handled roughly.

Terms of Sale

Please email me if you have concerns re: condition as described. I look through books and magazines carefully. I make every effort to describe all items, including paper ephemera accurately. Occasionally I may not notice an imperfection-if so, please email me.
I pack carefully and it is rare that an item is damaged in shipping. I will accept returns within 30 days, if you are dissatisfied with the condition of the item.  I will  issue a refund when I receive item in the same condition as when sold. Buyer pays shipping for return postage. Please pack it carefully.

About Us

I have a non-smoking home. I do not sell items that smell of cigarette smoke; have assorted "bad" odors, mold, or mildew. Any stains or discolorations are noted. (I do have long haired dogs).
