For sale is a 2000 Kawasaki ZX900E1 (ZX9R). I bought this bike almost 4 years ago from a guy who lightly laid it down. I damaged the front cowl, scuffed the right side cowl, and scuffed the clutch cover. I have bought a new front cowl, and used rear cowl that I was going to use when I re-painted the bike. I never got around to painting it though. I kept an eye on the clutch cover and there wasn’t any oil leaks, but the clutch started slipping. I replace the clutch a year ago, along with new gaskets and oil seals. I performed a valve clearance check and adjustment a year and a half ago, and have another valve cover gasket for the next check. The final drive chain has about 2,000 miles on it, and I replaced the front and rear drive sprockets at the same time. The rear brake rotor was replaced around the same time (the front brake rotors are still above the minimum thickness). The rear tire still has some tread *see photos*, but will need to be replaced after a while.  I replaced the fork oil seals a month ago, and replaced all the brake pads as well. I change the oil biannually, and use Mobil 1 10W-40 racing 4T oil.  I bleed the brakes, and clean and sync the carburetors once a year (one month ago). This bike is also really fast. I got it up to 175mph once, and felt like it had some more to give (throttle wasn’t fully open). It has a Muzzy exhaust, a K&N high flow air filter, and had already been re-jetted before I purchased it. I kept really good care of this bike while I owned it, and all the scratches and chips were from the previous owner.  I love this bike, it has been really reliable with little issues (clutch), but I bought a project bike and need room in my motorcycle trailer. Speaking of which, I have kept this bike in a storage bin, and then a motorcycle trailer. Previous owner said it was garage kept.

Also included in the sale: Replacement unpainted front and rear cowl, original windshield, Haynes service manual, and rear lift stand.

If you want to test drive the bike, I will have to have the full amount for the bike IN HAND. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. You can also call and text before 8:00 p.m. EST (nine-one-two-6-8-7-six-four-six-six)
