Ecosse Iconoclast Motorcycle

This is a custom motorcycle made in Denver by the Ecosse Moto Works Inc. Ecosse is known for exotic specialist bikes with many unique features of the highest quality. This particular bike is the Iconoclast model and Ecosse made only one so far. The first time I saw photos of it I was just stunned. It is the best looking motorcycle that I have ever seen.

These were designed and manufactured by Ecosse in Denver exclusively for a company in England so they were (and are) priced in English Pounds, I paid 44,000 pounds for it when I purchased it and the exchange rate in US dollars was around $88,000. At the present time this model is priced at $54,000 UK pounds so the price has increased by 10,000 UK pounds.

The principal materials used in this motorcycle include 4130 Chrome-moly, carbon fiber and other exotic materials. I had special carbon fiber wheels built which make the bike somewhat lighter than its specified weight of 450 lbs. The 2 liter engine produces 140 ft lbs of torque at the rear wheel and more than 150 horsepower. Check out the details at the Ecosse web site: http://www.ecossemoto.com/index.htm

This motorcycle is in excellent condition with less than 1,000 miles on it (I have other bikes too). It has never been dropped or damaged in any way. You are welcome to inspect it, I am located midway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs and approximately an hour and a half from San Diego. Also note: I purchased this new in 2008. The vin number will indicate an earlier date of manufacture because that is when a manufacturing run of frames was made.

Here is the data from the manufacturer web site:
