Please see pictures for condition, flawless besides a dent here and there, almost all original, new clutch, new fuel lines, new brakes (drum brakes). The engine has never been restored and runs flawless. This BMW was owned by a mechanic and stored for 20 years in. A retired Air Force Colonel bought the BMW from the mechanic's estate and worked countless hours on it restoring it for his wife, his wife turned out to be too short to ride it so he sold it to me! I've always been obsessed with vintage BMW motorcycles. I IMMEDIATELY had MAX BMW (the most reputable BMW dealer in the northeast) do a full inspection and analysis of the bike, they were amazed by the condition. I've ridden this bike through the adirondack mountains and taken it on multiple hour rides. I've had it serviced every summer by MAX BMW and always advised them to spare no expense, they've replaced the battery, rewired the brake lights, changed the oil, put new tires on it. NOTHING ELSE. I'm selling this bike bc my father stays up and worries about it and he's getting old, I made a promise to him I would. I have the ORIGINAL owner's manual as well as all receipts for service and work performed by the Air Force Colonel and the work I've had MAX BMW do. This incredible and rare motorcycle, the toaster tank as its affectionately called, was only produced for 2 years.
